The Kayode Fayemi Campaign Organisation has concluded campaign activities, ending weeks of gruelling shuttles across the state by the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr Kayode Fayemi, in campaign stops where he spoke on his mission to redirect the state to the path of growth.
A statement by the Chairman of the Kayode Fayemi Campaign Council, Alaba Abejide, thanked the staff of the organisation who worked day and night for successful campaign outings.
He assured that Fayemi will live up to the expectations of Ekiti people after winning Saturday election.
He said that by this statement, all campaign activities end by mid-night when it will be illegal to place campaign adverts in the media.
Abejide warned mischief-makers that are allegedly planning to place adverts in the media in the name of Fayemi and campaign organisation to desist from the act, saying this is a criminal conduct to make Fayemi run foul of the law.
“By this statement, we notify INEC that we have stopped all campaign activities in the media. Any advert placements are from the opposition that is desperate to set us against the law,” Abejide concluded.
